exposed
Long exposures with no tripod. I used the flash intermittently. I had the subject hold the flash and turn it on himself on my cue. This made it possible to expose the same subject multiple times (see 3rd and 4th photo). With this technique I've found that there are many variables to explore... position of flash= effecting contrast and general balance of photograph. Also the timing of shudder speed is something to consider. So far my process has been pretty intuitive, which in some cases works to my benefit; other times not so much. Next shoot I will bring the tripod out, regardless of how dead and cumbersome it is.
